The Carolina Global Breastfeeding Institute, with the cooperation of the UNC Women’s and Children’s Hospital staff, has developed The Mary Rose Tully Training Initiative, an IBLCE-approved Pathway 2 clinical training program in breastfeeding and lactation. A central educational component of this initiative is a two-course clinical training that provides both clinical and didactic elements. The clinical training covers a broad spectrum of practice experiences related to the mother and child with regard to breastfeeding. The didactic training provides the basic medical sciences as well as public health perspectives, including consideration of population and program-based applications. Click for more information
