Hurricane Irma – Midwife Jennie is not leaving Florida!

September 9, 2017, Orlando: Even as Hurricane Irma approaches, Jennie is not leaving Florida. In fact, it is her plan to check on and help as many expecting moms in the area as possible. Many families are not financially able to evacuate and she is concerned for the health and wellbeing of these moms and babies as they deal with the aftermath.
Her Perinatal Safe Spot, “Orlando Disaster Fund” has just been put in place to anticipate the extended needs of expectant woman and their families in Central Florida affected by this record breaking hurricane.

If you would like to help us support moms and babies in the affected areas you can donate by sending money via Paypal to baby@commonsensechildbirth.org. Commonsense Childbirth, Inc is a 501C3 non-profit organization and your contributions are tax deductible. Please contact our coordinator Kathy Bradley for more information at help@commonsensechildbirth.org. If you are able to come to Florida and help volunteer once the storm has passed or if you want to send supplies, we will be posting a list of needs soon along with details of where to send them. Thank you and please stay safe!
